Cole Denyer: Three Poems

Every object should have a unique tracking identity to

distinguish them across a sequence of frames in time and

should be positioned in coordinates that must be

determined for each detected object.

The Complete Guide to Object Tracking

Sensitive sites can you imagine
“Annunciation” “Where’s Daddy?”
garbage targets in the mid-distance
can you see them under black tulips
motion detection, location
carries the rest based analytic
error rooms into your speech
echo of each pulse dared counter
the life judge system designed
longing is so private
operational augmented impunities
looks like Fortnite
wind ammo left range,
etc. strain upon strain
you can’t see wedged hostile
units in the fields
burning engineers
collected images from
the world's heart
skylark eyes in the sky
Lemkin without light

Karl-Marx Grave labubu dolorem
in my linear city
entirely man made
glass mirror ceiling
covered in phrases
the giant artificial moons
all decayed to zero
consumes less virgin land now
Abdul Rahim Al Huwaiti
the dispensaries their opposition
echoing PIF breaking
the bone of a dead person
is equivalent to breaking it
when the person is alive
a right to take falls in pale grief
mornings seizing aquellum clean
descend the undetachable names
in the glacier rooms
vault-tec compression fantasies
pour into your sleep
the city becomes
suddenly beautiful again

Disposable pulp commodes
moving through the world
unmelted your speech
look here is my real voice it is
with Soft Edges, Glowing Lids
every Angel is terrifying & yet
into small window bars
the eternal humiliant
rising up in the multi-night
music of an empty room
where the bad blood echoes
things fall out of your mouth
& we laugh like tubes
orchestrated gantry stunts,
the banners, the Santa outfits,
the nooses, the desperate measures?
the din broken light
the circumference
halves me & the frigid lips
of my heart
into quiet breaking
of a sacred bond
& you say every angel is terrifying!
